- Orff xylophones sound is different compared to concert xylophones. It has a softer, longer-lasting, tender, and relaxing sound and is perfect for kids singing.
- 16 musical bars/keys ranging from C1-A2 and includes 3 additional chromatic Bb and F# bars. All bars are fiberglass with fundamental or overtones tuning. This provides an unusual, mesmerizing sound.
- The resonator box of the xylophone has divided chambers which also improve resonance. The stepping of the chambers enhances the sound.
- There are two sets of mallets: one has a felt head, the second is made of yarn.
- This xylophone has 4 slots on the side for mallets. The set includes a special cloth bag with a slot for storage of each of the bars and mallets.
