EISCO Premium Spectrum Tube - Water Vapor (H2O), 26cm

This high-quality Spectrum Tube effectively demonstrates the spectral lines of pure water vapor when placed in a spectrum tube power supply (not included). It is designed for use with power supplies capable of holding 26cm spectrum tubes (Eisco p/n ESRPH1197B). The 26cm long tube is made of durable, transparent soda glass and features a large 10cm capillary in the center for greater viewing area. For best performance and longest life, the spectrum tube should be operated in 30 seconds on / 30 seconds off time intervals. Includes instructions.NOTE: For intermittent use only, not to be used as a lamp source. Expected life of spectrum tubes will vary depending on the gas they contain. If the tubes are used as recommended and not allowed to overheat, the useful life - or time it takes to detect contamination with the usual measuring equipment - is very long.

• SPECTRUM TUBE POWER SUPPLY || Tubes should be energized with the Spectrum Tube Power Supply, which is made expressly for this purpose. Tube life is extended if operation is cyclic for no more than 30 seconds "on," 30 seconds "off," etc., increasing the usable life of the tubes.
